Position Summary: Under general direction performs a variety of CT procedures at a skilled technical level requiring the ability to apply ionizing radiation for diagnosis. Performs related work as required. Responsibilities

Perform CT procedures at a skilled technical level. Apply ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes. Perform related work as required. Required Qualifications

Current CA State Radiology Certification. Current CA State Fluoroscopy Certification. Registered as a Computed Tomography Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Current CPR Certification. Graduate from a school of Radiologic Technology. Must possess the skill, knowledge, and ability essential to successful performance of assigned duties. Must demonstrate customer‑service skills appropriate to the job. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the health system. Must be able to provide proof of work authorization. Preferred Qualifications

One to two years of acute‑care hospital experience as a Radiology Technician and CT Technician. Knowledge of university and medical‑center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms. Physical Requirements

Transport objects by holding them in hands or arms. Perceive the nature of sounds by ears. Express ideas by means of spoken word and have visual acuity and depth perception. Move about by foot. Ability to lift/pull patients. Conditions of Employment
