Physical Therapist – SoHo Spear Physical and Occupational Therapy is seeking a qualified, passionate Physical Therapist to join the team at its SoHo Clinic. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

Set clear expectations for patients’ clinical progress.

Execute treatments as promised.

Provide Home Exercise Programs and other supporting documentation.

Maintain a high standard of clinical excellence while delivering 5-star customer service.

Qualifications

License to practice Physical Therapy in the State of New York.

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree; Master’s or Bachelor’s in PT acceptable.

Physical Demand & Capacity

Requires manual dexterity and general strength and endurance.

Lifting: routine loads of 5–35 lbs from floor to waist, waist to shoulder, shoulder to overhead.

Carrying: routine loads of 5–10 lbs for 40–50 feet.

Pushing: routine loads of 5–150 lbs on casters, runners, or pulleys.

Sustaining a grip: routine 1–2 minutes at 40–50 lbs.

Guarding a lift load: routine of 120–140 lbs.
