Position Overview
Staff Accountant at IDR in Brentwood, TN. Join a growing organization in a supportive, team‑oriented culture. Responsibilities
Prepare standard and specialized journal entries and financial reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP. Compile and analyze financial data, post entries to accounts, and document business transactions. Establish, maintain, and coordinate accounting and control procedures. Support the financial close cycle by preparing journal entries for expense allocations, accruals, and routine transactions. Collaborate with store support center and teams from stores and distribution centers to address inquiries about journal entries and financial reports. Required Skills
0‑2 years of general accounting experience, preference for SAP knowledge. Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables). Strong attention to detail in processing and reviewing documentation, data entry, and data integrity. Ability to build strong partnerships and interdepartmental relationships. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is preferred; interest in obtaining CPA is advantageous. Benefits
