Dental Assistant – East Charlotte
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant with at least one year of hands‑on experience in a clinical setting (job shadowing and internships do
not
qualify). This role supports our full‑time practice and requires proficiency in four‑handed dentistry, patient flow management, and equipment maintenance.
Basic Qualifications
Dental Assisting certification
1 year of dental assisting experience
Experience in four‑handed dentistry
Anticipates the dentist’s needs
Compliance with all regulations, protocols, and procedures
Knowledge of dental instruments and terminology
Knowledge of equipment and performs regular maintenance and care
Accurate execution of all necessary lab procedures
Excellent rapport with patients and teammates
Effective patient flow through time management
Inventory management of treatment areas
Ability to multitask
Positive attitude and willingness to help others
Attends to patient needs and ensures a pleasant treatment experience
Other Requirements
Current CPR Certification
X‑ray Certification
Record of updated vaccinations
Experience with Open Dental (or comparable software) and digital radiography
Must excel in Crowns & Bridgework, Extractions, Restorative, Impressions, and Fabrication of Temporaries
Valid background check performed through Checkr during the interview process
PPE Provided
Disposable gowns
Level 3 and N95 masks
Face shields and sneeze guards
Professional Appearance Policy
Visible body tattoos
Facial piercings
Abnormally colored hair (e.g., blue, pink, purple)
Salary & Location Salary: $18 – $25 per hour. Location: Charlotte, NC.
