Metrology Inspector - 1st Shift

Amphenol Aerospace (Mesa, AZ) is seeking a Metrology Inspector to perform inspections using precision measurement equipment/devices in our Quality Department. Location

Mesa, AZ – 25 minutes from Phoenix, AZ Key Responsibilities

Summarize quality control data on the computer and report results to supervisor Perform in‑process checks (IPC’s) Document nonconforming product and accept resulting rework Perform calibration and capability studies for new machines Assist production personnel in manufacturing Perform AS9102 FAI’s and complete related documentation Support calibration activities and maintain records of various tools, instruments, and gauges used for product acceptance or verification/validation Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related field High school diploma or equivalent Experience with CMM and measurement systems (GD&T or optical measuring systems) Strong knowledge of metrology and measurement techniques and use of measurement equipment Vision acuity 20/25 (with or without corrective lenses). Must pass the annual eye exam Amphenol Aerospace
