The Role -

n

Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking aProduct Specialistto work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Sidney, NY.

n

TheProduct Specialistwill support the product group with any projects or daily workload to achieve the determined sales and profitability levels; will actively learn the products, markets, and competitors.

n

The key responsibilities of theProduct Specialistinclude, but are not limited to:

n

· Collect, generate, and analyze date; periodically review drawings, provide support to sales

n

· Responsible for product marketing for specified products

n

o Product Planning

n

o Forecasting

n

o Pricing Structure & Strategies

n

o Promotion/Advertising Strategies

n

o Coordination with MarCom (Marketing Communications)

n

o Margin Responsibility

n

o Develop market plans for each product

n

o Develop cost reduction efforts

n

o Coordinate distributor strategic pricing efforts

n

· Responsible for meeting objectives of product plan

n

o Review of daily orders and margins

n

o Work towards booking and margin objectives

n

o Miscellaneous activities depending on product group needs

n

o Assist in market development and market penetration for new and derivative products

n

o Work with customers, field sales, and distribution in developing new or derivative products

n

Salary: $60,405.80 - $80,000

o 20 Minute Drive from Oneonta, NY

  Bachelor’s degree preferred in marketing or business

  n

• n

  Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships with customers and peers

  Proficiency with Microsoft Office

  n

• n

  Prolonged periods of computer work and sitting

  n
n
• n

  Interaction with operations (walking, lifting, bending, climbing stairs)

  n

• n

  Occasional travel as assigned by the Product Line Manager (air and car)
