Why we open this position? Orientation includes all processes, methodology, documentation and tasks that HBS put in place to enable event‑time staff to be fully operational from their first day on site, for a given event. The Orientation Assistant will support the Orientation Manager and the Orientation Coordinator with the on‑site delivery of the orientation programme during the FIFA World Cup 2026. The assistant will help ensure that all staff – ~1300 people – at the International Broadcast Centre in Dallas receive the necessary guidance and welcoming information to integrate smoothly into their roles. This position is limited to the event‑time period and focuses on operational support on‑site. Required qualities are:

Sense of responsibility and guidance

Hands‑on approach

Event‑Time – Support the Orientation Team in implementing the “First day on‑site” concept.

Assist in the contribution to the Training Module within CRUISE – a HBS data basis implemented for the projects by assigning staff to dedicated welcome journey steps according to their date of arrival, priority groups, department ect. as per guidelines.

Support in cross‑checking data ensuring smooth delivery on the next 줓

Help manage attendance lists and distribute materials

Check meeting rooms’ allocation and IT equipment needed

Act as first point of contact for interns to be ready and in place for the next day (shifts, assignments etc.)

Support the delivery of Orientation at the IBC

Act as first point of contact for Staff Guides / interns

Support in delivering the Welcome Session

Support in coordinating resources ensuring successful delivery

Final check of meeting rooms’ allocation and IT equipment needed

Provide on‑site guidance and information to new staff

Help manage attendance lists, distribute materials and track participation
