A respected architecture & design firm in Grand Rapids is seeking a Senior Architectural Designer to take a lead role in complex commercial and institutional projects while mentoring younger designers and influencing overall design direction.

You Will
Lead concept development and schematic design
Guide design direction through documentation + delivery
Collaborate directly with clients, consultants, and project teams
Produce design presentations and visualizations
Mentor junior and mid-level designers
What You Bring
10+ years architecture/design experience
Proven background delivering commercial or institutional projects
Strong design portfolio demonstrating innovation + problem-solving
Advanced Revit and SketchUp skills (other software a plus)
Excellent client-facing communication
Bonus Skills
Professional license or actively pursuing
Experience with design-build or integrated project teams
Portfolio including sustainable or innovative building solutions
