Diesel Mechanic - Fleet Technician A
Reyes Fleet Management is seeking a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician A to repair and maintain tractor and trailer equipment at our Reyes Beverage Group shop in Richmond, VA.
Salary Base pay range:
$30.00/hr - $35.00/hr . Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.
Shift Full-Time: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM Monday – Friday
Position Responsibilities
The Fleet Technician is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and overhaul of fleet diesel equipment, as well as the diagnostics and rebuilding of clutches and brake systems.
Complete thorough documentation for work orders related to repairs and preventative maintenance using the online AssetWorks system.
Operate a company vehicle to diagnose and repair equipment as part of roadside service calls.
Ensure that equipment has the required licensing and registration before being deemed roadworthy.
Install, replace, and repair onboard computers (XRS or XataNet) and/or cameras (DriveCam).
Work in accordance with company, local, state, and federal policies and regulations to ensure safety.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED and 3+ years of related experience.
Ability to lift 50 pounds, occasionally 100 pounds.
Must possess own tools (minimum tool requirement).
Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate company vehicles.
Preferred: Technical School Certification.
