Talent Acquisition Specialist (Fintech/Start-up)

Base pay range $115,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr
Growing Start-up/Fintech client currently seeking to add a Talent Acquisition Associate. This is a perfect opportunity for a highly motivated Talent/Recruiting professional coming from a large corporate training program or rotational/Analyst who is looking to transition full-time into a dynamic tech driven financial firm that has attracted some of the brightest minds in the industry. Essential Functions
Execute and oversee talent searches across firm, proactively building a pipeline of candidates for succession planning.
Develop, implement, and coordinate targeted sourcing strategies to engage with active and passive talent.
Assist with new business development across fund, including but not limited to sourcing, vetting and procuring new talent for firm.
Responsible for involved in all aspects of the HR function.
Communicate news and vital information to staff.
Develop, prepare, and analyze reports with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Manage Recruitment process: post ads on recruitment & professional websites; track, schedule and communicate with job applicants and agency vendors.
Manage new employee onboarding process including background checks, orientation, benefits enrollment, and employee engagement.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; a minimum 2+ years related human resources professional experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration and applicable federal and state laws.
Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to listen effectively.
Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point.
Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
