Representing a mission-driven, community-focused nonprofit organization, we are proud to be leading the search for a Talent Acquisition Manager. This newly created role will lead a small team and partner closely with HR leadership to shape and deliver a high-impact talent strategy.

4 days on site – WFH Fridays

$120-130k base salary

2 Direct Reports

Responsibilities

Leading, mentoring, and managing a team of recruiters and a dotted-line HR coordinator

Overseeing full-cycle recruitment for a select portfolio of roles

Developing and implementing talent acquisition strategies aligned with organizational goals

Supporting workforce planning and forecasting hiring needs

Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified candidates through diverse sourcing channels

Enhancing recruitment processes to improve efficiency and candidate experience

Collaborating on onboarding, retention, and other strategic HR initiatives

Managing employer branding and employee value proposition efforts

Ensuring compliance and timely execution of recruitment activities

Partnering with the Managing Director of HR to uphold and evolve best practices across the talent function

Qualifications

Talent acquisition or HR professional with 7+ years of experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role

Strategic thinker with strong interpersonal and communication skills

Professional with experience in recruitment and generalist HR functions

Leader who can manage with both diplomacy and directness

Individual with knowledge of applicant tracking systems and HR analytics

Candidate familiar with labor laws and DEI initiatives

Professional experienced in workforce planning and position control (preferred)

Assist with a future HRIS/ATS implementation

Retention strategies

Social Worker Demographic

Compliance

Strategy around per diem roles to alleviate temp costs

Take over community partnerships

Comp review, comp benchmarking

Rewrite job descriptions and clean up titles

Succession planning with new roles, etc.

Performance reviews
