Description We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join Applebury Behavior Associates. The Behavior Technician will work with individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior plans designed by Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LABA).
Key Responsibilities
Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a LABA, other Licensed Professionals, and/or Doctoral level staff.
Collect data on observable client behavior.
Implement treatment goals and objectives.
Provide direct services alongside a team.
Collaborate with clinicians to provide effective client services.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client data and records.
Regularly maintain client confidentiality.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1-2 years of experience in ABA and working with children.
Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities.
Skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.
Familiarity with behavioral health practices.
Experience in data collection.
Understanding of HIPAA regulations and the importance of maintaining confidentiality.
Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
