Description We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join Applebury Behavior Associates. The Behavior Technician will work with individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. This position reports to clinicians and managers.
Key Responsibilities
Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
Collect data on observable client behavior.
Implement treatment goals and objectives.
Provide direct services alongside a team.
Collaborate with clinicians to provide effective client services.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client data and records.
Regularly maintain client confidentiality.
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Certified Registered Behavioral Technician is preferred.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
Proficiency in data collection and analysis.
Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality.
Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Strong communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and colleagues.
Comfortable working with medical documentation and records.
