Director, Financial Reporting

Full‑Time, Exempt
Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (37.5 hours, minimum). Must be available for hours outside normal business operations during peak periods.

Prepare and post journal entries.
Perform account reconciliations.
Apply GAAP and statutory accounting principles.
Maintain and document internal controls.
Support reinsurance transactions.
Manage insurance accounting processes.
Participate in month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close activities.
Contribute to new system implementations and reinsurance growth projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
Experience with month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes.
Strong background in internal controls and documentation (SOX / public accounting knowledge).
Solid GAAP accounting experience.
Reinsurance and insurance accounting experience is beneficial.
Proven proficiency in Excel.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
CPA strongly preferred.
