Base pay range
$75,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr A leading professional services firm is seeking an accounting professional to join its Finance team in Kansas City. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow beyond traditional accounting responsibilities and gain broader exposure to financial operations, as well as international accounting policies. This role is hybrid 3 days on-site. Key Responsibilities May Include: Support day‑to‑day accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month‑end close processes Work closely with the Finance Manager on financial reporting and internal analysis Assist with expense analysis and cost tracking across departments Help identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improved financial efficiency Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support financial initiatives and ad‑hoc projects Ensure compliance with accounting policies Other responsibilities as assigned High exposure to other finance functions such as budget preparation, cash forecasting reports, process improvement initiatives, and more Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 3–5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience Must have experience in a similar industry Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Proficiency in Excel and general accounting systems Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively in a collaborative environment Seniority level
