$70,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from LV Search Partners Las Vegas Search Partners is partnering with a leading gaming manufacturing company in Las Vegas to hire a Senior Accountant who enjoys owning the details, keeping the close on track, and building strong, audit‑ready processes. This role is ideal for an experienced accountant who is comfortable with balance sheet ownership, month‑end close, and supporting a growing accounting team in a fast‑paced environment. About the Role
The Senior Accountant will support month‑end close and day‑to‑day accounting operations, with ownership over key balance sheet reconciliations and schedules including prepaid expenses and deferred revenue. In addition to core accounting responsibilities, this role will contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives and serve as a resource to AP and accounting team members. Key Responsibilities
Own monthly balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules; investigate and resolve reconciling items and maintain clear audit trails Perform bank reconciliations; research variances, ensure proper cash classification, and maintain supporting documentation Prepare and maintain prepaid expense and deferred revenue schedules, including roll‑forwards, reconciliations, and related journal entries Support month‑end close activities, including AP accruals and other close entries as needed Provide day‑to‑day accounting support and guidance to AP clerks, including invoice coding and account mapping Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation; assist with external audit requests and walkthroughs Identify opportunities to streamline close and reconciliation processes and support automation initiatives Assist finance leadership with special projects and ad hoc accounting requests What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience) 4–10 years of progressive accounting experience (industry and/or public accounting) Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and month‑end close processes Experience with balance sheet reconciliations, prepaid accounting, deferred revenue, and AP accruals Detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities Tools & Technical Experience
Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, basic analysis) Experience working in an ERP system preferred Familiarity with reconciliation tools and close checklists a plus Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage 401(k) Paid Time Off (PTO) Seniority level
