The opportunity
Delaware North Sportservice is hiring seasonal Catering Team Members to join our team at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a Catering Team Member, you will collaborate with team members to deliver the highest quality experience for our guests.
This is a per-event paid position with compensation of $90.68 per event. The hourly rate shown is for reference only and reflects a breakdown of the guaranteed event pay, which is based on a 7-hour event day. The total event payment remains the same regardless of the actual number of hours worked.

What will you do?
Perform open, close, and side-work duties including but not limited to preparing room and facility prior to guest arrival, setting tables, clearing, cleaning, and sanitizing tables, and assisting in the set up of server stations
Knowledge of portions, containers, major ingredients, and prices for all items
Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly if placed in a bartending role
Observe diners to ensure that guests are satisfied with the food and service, stepping in when needed to assist and alerting supervisor of any issues
More about you
Customer service oriented with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-volume fast‑paced environment
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests
Ability to work independently and as a team
Basic knowledge of standard drink recipes and alcohol brand names preferred
Understanding that schedule opportunities are based on game day eventsBe at least 16 years of age
Physical requirements
Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, repetitive motions and ability to maneuver between tables and around corners
Ability to lift, balance, and move large food trays, weighing up to 35 pounds
Visual acuity and hearing sufficient to take orders and prepare bills
Shift details Days Evenings On call Holidays M-F Weekends Events OT as needed
