Job Summary
An Environmental Services Housekeeper ensures every patient, family member and staff has a clean, safe and sanitized environment. The Housekeeper plans the day with supplies, manages time, prioritizes high‑need tasks, and adapts work tempo according to hospital needs. Responsibilities include in‑patient room discharge cleaning, daily cleaning and sanitation of patient rooms, office spaces, public and clinical spaces, meeting or exceeding cleaning standards, communicating needs with staff, and collaborating with colleagues. Requires continuous physical activity throughout the shift and other duties as assigned. Experience
Minimum one year of experience in a position requiring customer service skills. Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Special Skills
Excellent customer service skills, friendly and helpful attitude, teamwork, professional communication, ability to meet cleaning expectations in a dynamic environment, adaptability to changing needs, critical thinking and problem solving, and basic computer and technology skills (pager, email, internet).
