Job Type:
Full-time (Schedule: Shift 2 – 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., weekends every other, holidays rotation)
Hours:
40.00 per week
Job Summary:
The Environmental Services EA-3 Process Coordinator assists the EVS management team by ensuring cleaning processes are performed correctly on units. Responsibilities include conducting quality inspections, high-touch cleaning audits, nurse rounding, patient care rounding, and performing service recovery with patients and family members. The role validates processes, completes staff competencies, and provides a safe, clean environment while observing safe practices, infection control measures, customer service standards, and departmental policies.
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of related experience required; 3 years of hospital/healthcare cleaning experience preferred.
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Special Skills:
Ability to read, write, and understand English, and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff while performing housekeeping duties.
