Position at Pasha Logistics LLC Job Summary The Senior Business Development Manager drives growth across transportation, logistics, warehousing, and transload services by identifying high-value opportunities, securing new customers, and collaborating across business units to deliver integrated supply chain solutions.
Primary Objectives
Increase revenue and customer base in transportation and logistics services.
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with customers and industry partners.
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver specialized solutions for high-value cargo.
Manage account lifecycle including pricing, onboarding, and service delivery coordination.
Duties and Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in transportation, logistics, warehousing, and transloading operations.
Manage customer accounts including pricing strategy, contract negotiation, and onboarding coordination.
Develop customer engagement strategies for high-value cargo segments including OHW, project cargo, and air freight.
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings to support strategic decision-making.
Recommend adjustments to business development strategies to achieve growth objectives.
Monitor and report on performance metrics related to customer acquisition and retention.
Collaborate with sales, operations, and terminal teams to develop and deliver integrated customer solutions.
Partner with internal departments to determine pricing and assess operational capabilities.
Support development of proposals and responses to RFPs/RFQs.
Maintain CRM systems to track customer interactions, pipeline development, and sales activities.
Facilitate onboarding of new accounts by coordinating with operations and logistics teams.
Engage directly with customers to assess satisfaction, resolve issues, and identify growth opportunities.
Participate in cross-functional meetings to align business development efforts with operational goals.
Lead cross-functional projects to implement growth initiatives.
Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings.
Maintain knowledge of global supply chain operations across all modes including ocean, air, rail, and trucking.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS Education
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of coursework and experience in directly-related field required
Licenses and Certifications
Valid state‑issued driver license and acceptable driving record required
Work Experience
8+ years' experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations with a focus on business development required
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proven ability to attract and secure new business in logistics and supply chain sectors.
Strong understanding of global supply chain operations across multiple modes of transport.
Familiarity with specialized cargo handling and transload operations.
Ability to analyze market data and customer requirements to develop tailored solutions.
Effective collaboration skills across sales, operations, and support teams.
Strong negotiation and pricing strategy skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to influence strategy and lead initiatives across multiple business units.
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and drive results.

Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a geographically dispersed team.
Proficiency with CRM systems and transportation management systems (TMS).

Salary Range (Seattle, WA) Zone 2: $140,000 - $165,000
Incentive Plan This job is also eligible for participation in an Incentive Plan with a target payout based on eligible compensation and corporate/individual performance goal attainment. Annual Incentive Opportunity: 15% of eligible compensation.
