Logistics Coordinator (Grief Analyst) – 2nd Shift Join Caterpillar Inc. as a Logistics Coordinator (Grief Analyst) on the 2nd shift, Monday – Friday, 2 p.m. – 10 p.m. in Brooklyn Park, MN. You’ll play a pivotal role in tracking grief parts, updating status, facilitating speedy transfer, and communicating issues to support uninterrupted production.

Responsibilities

Track incoming parts and update status through receiving, inspection, sorting, rework, stocking, and release, escalating issues as needed.

Facilitate the transfer of parts on grief file to the point of use once available for receipt.

Maintain and track complex SAP and Microsoft Office transactions related to material movements.

Identify, document, communicate, and correct problems; report discrepancies and recommend solutions.

Assist with root cause identification and corrective action development for material-handling-related quality and velocity.

Participate in support projects as required.

Required Qualifications

Experience operating material handling equipment (counterbalance, turret, reach, picker, etc.).

Experience distributing and managing counts of parts for manufacturing teams.

Two years cumulative experience in logistics.

Two years cumulative experience navigating Mach 1 / SAP in a warehouse environment.

Preferred Qualifications

A two‑year degree.

Caterpillar Paving Products experience.

Shift & Compensation Pay: $23.30 per hour (includes shift differential). Shift: Monday ‑ Friday, 2 p.m. ‑ 10 p.m. (Weekday only). Overtime may be available on a voluntary basis with prior authorization. You will be paid weekly.

Location: Brooklyn Park, MN.

Physical Requirements

Operate material handling equipment and hand tools.

Expose to magnets that may affect medical devices.

Operate overhead cranes, jib cranes, and hoists.

Lift up to 35 lbs frequently.

Work at multiple heights and awkward positions.

Perform repetitive maneuvers such as grasping, pushing, pulling, rotating.

Work Environment

Limited exposure to welding fumes and noise levels of 85 db or greater.

Exposure to magnets that may impact medical devices.

Work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures.
