Sun Pharma is seeking a Senior Manager, Sales Force Effectiveness & Commercial Technology Enablement within the U.S. Commercial IT function. The role strengthens our CRM ecosystem, field effectiveness tools, digital engagement capabilities, and data‑driven insights across Sales, Field Reimbursement Managers (FRMs), Market Access, and Patient Services stakeholders. The focus is on enhancing CRM capabilities, enabling omnichannel field execution, and ensuring commercial teams have the right tools and insights. Commercial IT Responsibilities
CRM, Sales Force Effectiveness, and digital engagement platforms Data Management, Business Intelligence, and field analytics Commercial technology strategy, integrations, and governance AI/ML adoption and emerging technology enablement Partnership with Marketing, Market Access, Patient Services, Sales, Medical Affairs, and Digital teams Oversight of platform vendors, SaaS solutions, and digital delivery partners Field Effectiveness & Access Enablement Technology
Lead technology initiatives that enhance the effectiveness of Sales, Field Reimbursement Managers (FRMs), and other field‑facing teams. Partner with Market Access and Patient Services to enable approved visibility into access‑related insights (e.g., payer dynamics, formulary indicators, key HUB/PSS milestones) that support field execution—without owning HUB or CRM platforms. Support digital field tools including mobile enablement, remote engagement solutions, field content resources, and omni‑channel interactions in partnership with Marketing and Digital. Strengthen field planning and account engagement capabilities by aligning technology solutions with real‑world access barriers, reimbursement workflows, and business processes. Coordinate day‑to‑day technology enablement activities across Sales Field IT support teams, internal Sun IT teams, and Business Units to ensure timely resolution of application, data, and platform‑related issues impacting field users. Serve as a central Commercial IT point of coordination for field‑facing application enhancements, issue triage, release impacts, and communication across stakeholders. Data, Insights, Integrations & Advanced Analytics Enablement
Collaborate with Data Science, BI, MDM, and Commercial IT teams to deliver insights, dashboards, and analytics that support field strategy, account prioritization, and access‑related decision making. Support governed integrations across commercial systems (e.g., payer data, HUB/PSS data flows, analytics platforms) to ensure field teams have cohesive, compliant visibility into business drivers. Advance AI/ML and NLP‑enabled capabilities that improve segmentation, predictive access insights, and field prioritization. Ensure all technology and data initiatives meet HIPAA, PHI/PII, GxP, and Commercial governance requirements. Participate in evaluating emerging technologies that simplify access insights, strengthen account engagement, and support the evolving needs of field teams. Partner with internal IT platform, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure field‑facing applications remain stable, scalable, and aligned with enterprise technology standards. Additional Responsibilities – Large Field Events
Proactively coordinate Commercial IT technology readiness for large field‑facing events (e.g., product launches, POA meetings, national sales meetings, etc.), ensuring CRM, field tools, data access, and integrations are validated and supported in advance of key milestones. Partner with Sales, Marketing, Field IT Support, and internal Sun IT teams to plan, test, and execute technology enablement activities for high‑impact commercial events, minimizing disruption and ensuring a seamless field experience. Education & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree or MBA with Digital/Commercial/IT focus preferred. 8+ years in Commercial IT, CRM ownership (e.g., Veeva/Salesforce), Sales Force Effectiveness, or related digital commercial systems. Strong experience enabling field teams (Sales, MA, FRM) within CRM ecosystems. Experience or exposure to Market Access/Payer/FRM workflows and HUB/PSS data structures preferred but not required. Familiarity with formulary datasets, access indicators, claims insights, and Patient Services data models is a plus. Technical proficiency with AI/ML, analytics, and visualization tools (e.g., Python, R, Azure ML, Tableau, Power BI). Knowledge of HIPAA, data privacy, compliance requirements, and commercial tech governance. Certifications in Salesforce, Veeva, cloud platforms, or analytics are preferred. Strong communication, cross‑functional partnership, and project management skills. Compensation and Benefits
The presently‑anticipated base compensation pay range for this position is $123,500 to $151,000. Actual base compensation may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to geographical location and experience. In addition, this position is part of the Annual Performance Bonus Plan. Employees are eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs which include medical, dental and vision coverage; life insurance; disability insurance; 401(k) savings plan; flexible spending accounts; and the employee assistance program. Employees also receive various paid time off benefits, including vacation time and sick time. Employees will be in an “at‑will” position and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company, or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
