The Infection Prevention Manager is considered an Infection prevention expert. The Infection Prevention Manager is the direct Supervisor for region level infection preventionist and responsible for the day-to-day operations of the assignedಪುfection program.
The Infection Prevention Manager is accountable for implementation of and compliance with policies, practices and processes of the infection prevention program at the facility, region, division and system level. In collaboration with the IP leadership, IP medical director, and IP peers, all IP will follow all current local, state and federal guidelines, standards and regulations.
The Infection Prevention Manager is responsible for overseeing infection prevention consultative services focused on providing the highest quality care at the lowest cost to patient and organization.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Lab Sciences, Microbiology, Nursing, Public Health, or related health sciences field
Upon hire: National Certified in Infection Control - Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology
4 years of Infection Prevention Epidemiology experience
6 years of quality and patient safety or other directly related healthcare experience
4 years of progressively responsible leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Lab Sciences, Microbiology, Nursing, Public Health, or related health sciences field
