Description Bejac Corporation, a heavy construction equipment dealership headquartered in Placentia, CA has an immediate opening for a full-time Welder/Machinist with line-boring experience. We are a well-established, well-respected equipment distributor offering competitive pay and benefits.

Salary range: $30-40 per hour (salaries are based on the candidate’s experience)

Any person hired into a position which requires a uniform must pay a $500.00 deposit. Payroll deductions may be arranged through the Payroll Manager. Deductions may not exceed eight (8) payroll periods. More information regarding uniforms will be discussed during New Hire Orientation.

A DMV record and valid Driver’s license will be required for all persons driving a Company vehicle, operating equipment, or driving their personal vehicle for Company business.

Proof of auto insurance will be required for all persons driving a Company or personal vehicle for Company business.

Requirements

Welding certifications that demonstrate the ability to repair heavy equipment

Experienced welding with all basic steel materials

Machining and line boring experience a must

Capable of running and managing a complete machine shop

Capable of reading basic blueprints

The ability to effectively document work performed

The ability to visualize and design custom projects

Capable of performing duties without direct supervision

A good driving record along with all basic tools required for the position

Ability to perform routine maintenance, basic repairs and diagnostics, and parts changing

Experience with lathes, drill presses, flame-cutting tables, line boring machines, welders, related materials, tooling, etc.

Ability to plan, schedule, organize, and order supplies and materials.
