The Opportunity We are partnering with organizations in Cadillac that are seeking Manufacturing Engineers. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Design, develop, and implement tooling, fixtures, and equipment solutions. Support new product introduction (NPI) from prototype to full production, ensuring manufacturability. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to processes, equipment, and materials. Create and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and process flows. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve yields, and enhance product quality. Conduct root cause analysis for production defects and implement corrective and preventive actions. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering. Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Proficiency in CAD software for process design, tooling, and fixture development. Experience with manufacturing automation, robotics, and/or PLC systems. Demonstrated ability in root cause analysis, process optimization, and troubleshooting manufacturing issues. Bonus Qualifications Experience with PLC programming, robotics, or vision systems. Proficiency in advanced simulation software (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
