Job Overview
As a Cosmetic Sales Colleague (Beauty Advisor), you are the trusted expert customers turn to for all things beauty. You provide personalized consulting, product demonstrations, and tailored recommendations, building lasting relationships and exceeding sales goals.
How Our Beauty Colleagues Spend Their Day
Start each day energized: greet teammates, prepare the sales floor, review goals, and stay informed on new arrivals and promotions.
Focus on the customer: offer a warm welcome, engage in friendly conversations, and build relationships that bring customers back.
Maintain a shoppable space: keep the counter and floor organized and updated, refresh signage, and support merchandise moves as needed.
Share loyalty program benefits, provide a sincere thank-you, and sign off with the customer’s name.
Support one another with honesty, care, and collaboration to serve customers and communities better.
Continuously strive for excellence by improving daily, achieving sales goals, and learning from one another.
Who You Are
Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Effective communication with customers, co‑workers, and supervisors.
Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules in English.
Deliver personalized beauty experiences by building relationships, demonstrating product application, and educating customers.
Drive sales and client loyalty by maintaining an organized space, using clienteling tools, and participating in sales events.
Meet and surpass daily sales goals by delivering exceptional service.
Acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits.
Effectively use point‑of‑sale technology and digital tools to streamline transactions.
At least one year of customer service or selling experience.
Essential Physical Requirements
Talking, lifting, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands.
Standing for at least two consecutive hours, lifting at least 25 lbs., stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, reaching above eye level.
Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Frequent use of computers and handheld equipment for cash register transactions.
