Essential Duties
Make repairs to machines as needed with emphasis on hydraulic presses.
Recommend modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions or to improve safety, quality, or equipment operating parameters.
Perform repairs and troubleshoot on machinery, repairing hydraulic and other systems.
Assist in repairing malfunctions in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.
Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
Follow all company policies, including all related safety policies.
Qualifications
Experience with large hydraulic systems, pump diagnosis, cylinder rebuilds, pump repairs, valve tuning, control functions and troubleshooting.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a maintenance manufacturing setting.
Willingness to work 12‑hour shifts.
Training and experience in use of PLCs is a plus.
Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings is a plus.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to analyze and resolve work problems and assist other technicians as needed.
Willingness to participate in all required job and employment-related training, including safety and technical trainings.
