Postdoctoral Fellow: Tulane University School of Medicine We are seeking a highly motivated PhD and/or MD graduate to work in the Cardiovascular research lab in the Tulane University Department of Medicine (New Orleans). The successful candidate will join an NIH‑funded project (Dr. Patrick Delafontaine) to investigate the role of insulin‑like growth factor I (IGF‑1) in atherosclerosis in mice and a large (porcine) animal model. The project studies the relation between IGF‑1, cell senescence and atherosclerotic disease and will use a loss‑of‑function murine model, atherosclerotic pigs, and explore mechanisms using in‑vitro studies.
