Administrative Support Clerk – Director’s Office – Kansas City
Typical working hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Role Description We are recruiting a qualified positive professional to join our Clerical Support Team, working primarily with the Utilization Review team and the Director’s Office.
Independent decision making in accordance with policies and procedures. Initiative to learn complex operations quickly and perform them accurately. Flexibility in a fast‑paced deadline‑driven environment with shifting priorities. Proficiency with office practices, computer systems, software, and standard office equipment.
Primary Responsibilities • Operate as a member of the Clerical Support Team, ensuring timely completion of correspondence, data processing, and record keeping, and providing a professional and welcoming first contact over the phone or in person. • Serve as receptionist or information clerk for the two Assistant Directors, determining purpose of contact, providing general information, assisting in preparation of forms, directing individuals to proper destination, receiving and distributing messages, and scheduling or arranging appointments. • Perform data entry, typing and editing a variety of material, reviewing documents for accuracy and completeness, and preparing and scanning confidential documents for electronic storage. • Assist with preparation of letters and documents needed for Medicaid waiver service requests and appeals; monitor timelines related to Utilization Review and appeals.
Typical Qualifications 0–1 year of relevant office experience. Education will not be used as the sole basis for denying consideration.
