About The Role Grade Level (for internal use): 07.

The Team: Join a team that develops your financial knowledge, S&P product expertise, problem‑solving skills, and professional communication. You will serve on the Capital Markets Client Services team, where you will help clients resolve issues, interpret our data, and navigate the Capital IQ and Capital IQ Pro platforms. Working as a team is essential in this role. Client Services interacts with many internal teams, including Sales, Content, Product, and Technical Support.

Responsibilities and Impact After approximately 1‑2 months of training and mentorship, you will begin supporting clients over the phone, via web chats and emails. You will receive deep‑dive training on our data, present group projects, learn about our customer segments, and gain exposure to additional S&P Global platforms. Participants must complete required certification exams and a rigorous evaluation process that tests skills and capabilities.

This role provides on‑the‑job training and networking opportunities to prepare you for a successful career in S&P Global’s Market Intelligence division. It seeks to attract high achievers from a diverse pool of undergraduate institutions.

What We’re Looking For

A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) completed before March 2026, preferably in finance, accounting, economics, or business.

Ability to join a class of new hires in March 2026.

Relationship Management: Passion for building relationships with finance professionals and enthusiasm for learning and working in the financial services industry.

Teamwork: Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work well with people from varying backgrounds.

Communication: Strong communication and customer‑service skills to effectively resolve client concerns and promote SPGMI product usage.

Proficiency: Effective problem‑solving, time‑management, and organizational skills also required.

Compensation / Benefits Information S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $50,000‑$55,000. Final base salary will be based on the individual’s geographical location.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.

Right to Work Requirements This role is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.

All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of two days per week.
