Discovery Paralegal – Boutique Recruiting Join a dynamic Los Angeles-based personal injury and employment law firm that is hiring a seasoned Discovery Paralegal to own discovery from start to finish in high-impact plaintiff employment matters. This role is heavily discovery-driven (~75% of workload) and focuses on drafting and managing discovery requests and responses, coordinating with clients, and keeping cases moving with precision and urgency. The ideal candidate is self‑directed, highly organized, knows discovery inside out, takes pride in clean work product, and thrives in an autonomous, no‑drama environment.

Salary Range:

$30.00 – $60.00 / Hour DOE

Responsibilities Manage heavy discovery from end to end, including drafting requests, objections, and responses using established templates. Follow up with clients to collect documents, information, and discovery responses. Draft pleadings, complaints, and motions with attorney oversight. Handle filing, calendaring, and trial preparation tasks. Assist attorneys on cases when discovery is light or complete. Maintain accurate records and case materials across firm systems. Use AI tools to assist with formatting, drafting, and cleanup of discovery responses.

Requirements 5 – 10+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal with a strong specialization in discovery. Hands‑on experience with plaintiff‑side employment law. PI experience a plus. Proven ability to draft discovery responses independently and meet deadlines consistently. Strong client communication skills with polished phone etiquette. Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and proactive problem solver. Comfortable working independently in a hands‑off environment. Experience with Practice Panther, Trial List, Airtable, Dropbox, and Lexis preferred. Paralegal certificate preferred. Experience working on Mac systems and leveraging AI tools is a plus.
