Position Summary
The Center of Excellence for Eating Disorders (CEED) in the Department of Psychiatry at UNC‑Chapel Hill School of Medicine invites applications for a Clinical Post‑Doctoral Fellowship. This full‑time, two‑year position starts July 1, 2026. The fellowship is 80% clinical and 20% research. As a fellow you will conduct comprehensive eating disorder evaluations and provide individual, group, and family‑based psychotherapy in CEED Outpatient, CEED Eating Disorder Unit (EDU), and Carolina Athletics Mental Health and Performance Psychology Program (MHPP). You will receive advanced training and supervision in both inpatient and outpatient care, and will engage in research or quality improvement projects aligned with CEED’s clinical programs. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Applicants must have a strong background in Clinical/Counseling Psychology, completed their doctoral training and internship at APA‑accredited programs by the start of the fellowship year, and be eligible for provisional licensure in North Carolina. Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Experience with family‑based therapy and/or cognitive behavioral therapy for eating disorders. Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
