Deliver engaging instruction across core subjects, GED prep, and enrichment activities. Collaborate with mental health professionals to integrate treatment plans into learning. Support students with IEPs alongside Special Education Teachers. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide crisis intervention when needed. Maintain accurate documentation and assist with program development. What You Need
Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field. Current Alaska teaching certificate (or substitute accepted by FNSBSD). Ability to work as part of an education and mental health team. Familiarity with special education laws. CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain). Physical ability for crisis intervention techniques (training provided). The Perks
