Chef Manager

McLaren Thumb Regional Hospital . This role oversees the culinary and food service operation, ensuring quality, sustainability, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Full culinary management of the food service operation, including inventory, ordering, and receiving.
Menu development, cost controls, purchasing, and inventory management with a focus on local sourcing.
Leadership of a kitchen team, ensuring sanitation, presentation, and food safety.
Support sustainability initiatives and promote responsible practices.
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of HACCP and ServSafe certification.
Three years of culinary management experience in contract food service, fine dining, or restaurant settings.
Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends, quality, production, sanitation, and food cost controls.
Experience with exposition cooking.
Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract‑managed service experience.
