OVERVIEW
Alera Group is looking for a Commercial Lines Account Manager. We are seeking highly motivated colleagues who bring experience and enthusiasm to our team – joining us may be the perfect fit for you!

RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform all account transactions including:
procurement of new accounts
applications and quotations
ID cards, proposals, summaries, endorsements and binders
All billing and correspondence
Review and remarket renewals for retention of account.
Respond to client inquiries, incoming mail, and producer requests in a timely manner.
Proactively pursue cross-line sales.
Perform all tasks in accordance with Alera Group and our Carriers’ standards and procedures.
Complete account reviews as requested by the customer:
Help customers identify gaps in coverage, offer solutions, and place coverage.
Update and maintain all client files on EPIC (Agency Management System/ AMS).
Document all transactions and interactions pertaining to our customers’ accounts.
Maintain knowledge of our carriers’ products, underwriting guidelines, and operating procedures.
Keep current with industry trends, issues, and competitive intelligence by reading company bulletins and attending department meetings.
Utilize a comparative rating tool on new prospects and when remarketingexisting customers
Assist in the training and development of new colleagues.
QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of experience working within an agency/ brokerage.
Property & Casualty License
Computer skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Agency Management System Experience. EPIC preferred.
Ability to work with a team collaboratively.
Ability to present complex insurance concepts.
Dependable with a strong work ethic.
Time management skills with the ability to prioritize your work to meet critical deadlines
