Position Summary As a Tire & Battery Center Technician you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department and deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the club meets the member’s expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate other associates on tools, tasks, resources and mentor new technicians.
Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, and POS systems.
Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience and elevate associate engagement using handheld technology and systems for immediate business decisions.
Be an Owner: Communicate equipment, tools and supplies needs to TBC Lead, track and monitor returns and special orders, operate cash registers, maintain inventory, audit safety and compliance standards, report complaints and hazards, and complete required documentation.
Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate the brand, model high‑quality service, influence and inspire others, and help train teammates.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity and apply the Open Door Policy.
Manage work assignments and priorities using policies, data and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers and partners.
Promote a culture of belonging by embracing differences and supporting teammates.
Maintain integrity by upholding the highest standards of ethics, accountability and Walmart values.
Serve customers and members by delivering results with a customer‑first mindset and making informed decisions.

Minimum Qualifications
Valid State‑issued Driver’s License.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Complete all required trainings and assessments within the prescribed time period.
Preferred Qualifications
Auto service industry experience.
Retail experience.

Compensation Details Hourly wage range: $18.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage.
