Sr. Commercial Casualty Claims Specialist (Remote)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Manage all aspects of 1st and 3rd party injury claims of low to moderate complexity
Make inactivity determinations and conduct investigative work regarding liability and damage concerns
Assist in taking first notice of loss calls (FNOL) and participate in the department phone queue as necessary
Develop negotiation strategies to effectively resolve claims with insureds and claimants
Communicate pertinent case facts to supervisors and participate in team meetings as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
4-5 years of claims experience with a minimum of 3-5 years in casualty adjuster experience
High school diploma (HS/GED) or a minimum of 3 years of experience in a casualty claims role within the P&C insurance industry
Must hold an Adjuster's license for all applicable states or obtain licenses within 90 days of employment
Exceptional communication skills and ability to manage claims efficiently with minimal supervision
Willingness to travel as needed for role-related meetings and collaboration
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
5+ years of casualty claims adjuster experience
BA/BS in business, insurance, or a related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience handling commercial claims
Bilingual (Spanish) skills
