About the Role As a Motion Graphics Designer, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the visual identity and energy of our content across YouTube, memberships, and paid products. You’ll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to bring creative ideas to life—owning motion design projects from concept through execution and delivering visuals that are bold, modern, and performance-driven.
This role blends high-end motion graphics with fast-turn production work. One day you might be building custom animations for a product launch or Financial Audit pre‑roll, and the next you’re creating trailers, Caleb Hammer Live (CHL) show graphics, or experimental visuals that push our content forward.
This role is based in our Austin, TX office and requires you to come in 5 days a week.
What You’ll Do
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to execute their creative vision
Build custom motion graphics and animations for product launches, videos, and ads using Adobe After Effects. Create new logos, branding, intros, and visual assets for Membership and paid products
Update Patreon weekly
Build new CHL graphics every Tues + Thurs (Donos, Shoutouts & Show Run)
Create trailers and promotional assets for shows, launches, or special announcements
Produce Financial Audit pre‑rolls as needed (e.g., Financial Score segments)
Organize and manage project files in Premiere Pro, ensuring efficiency across versions and handoffs
Stay on top of trends, memes, and editing styles within digital‑first content to keep our shows fresh and culturally relevant
Edit special projects and standout videos as needed (e.g., pilot episodes, or unique formats)
Create thumbnails when needed to support performance and click‑through
Own special projects from concept to execution (e.g., custom graph animations, logo recreations, experimental visuals)
Who You Are
You obsess over your work, consistently delivering the highest‑quality work and doing what it takes to achieve brand and content goals
You have proven experience editing YouTube or digital‑first content, with a portfolio or samples you’re proud to share
Mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
World‑class motion graphics and animation chops
Ability to work fast without compromising quality—tight turnarounds are part of the game
Exceptional storytelling instincts, with an eye for pacing, structure, and engagement
You’re deeply familiar with the YouTube platform and digital content landscape
You’re a clear communicator, highly organized, and adaptable as priorities shift
