Position Information Classification Title: Customer Service Rep I – FLSA Non‑Exempt – FTE 1.00.

This position offers a 40‑hour work week. Typical schedules are 8 AM – 5 PM, Monday‑Friday, may include evenings and weekends.

Advertised Salary: $34,500/yr – $37,951/yr (commensurate with experience). Closing Date: Proposed Starting Date 02/02/2026.

Responsibilities

Resolve customer issues and find solutions or alternatives in a timely manner.

Work as frontline cashier.

Assist Customer Relations customers with inquiries.

Process departmental orders.

Process appeal results.

Serve as a primary point of contact for customers of all Auxiliary Services Units, guiding them through system processes and software applications.

Provide continuous feedback to management teams on process improvements that benefit customer satisfaction.

Administrative Duties (40 %)

Answer the switchboard – 5 lines.

Answer and/or assign all tickets via TeamDynamix.

Screen and distribute incoming correspondence.

Prepare letters, reports, and records as assigned.

Other Duties (10 %)

Participate in department and campus‑wide activities associated with the duties and responsibilities of the position.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Possess in‑depth knowledge and experience of computers/data entry and working knowledge of Microsoft systems.

Attention to detail, good written and oral communication skills, and interpersonal skills to ensure exemplary customer service.

Ability to act calmly and take action in dynamic situations.

Experience utilizing TouchNet, FLEX, Team Dynamix, and data analysis software such as QLIK.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a similar customer service or administrative role.

Knowledge of auxiliary services or university operations.

Physical Demands

Lift up to 25 pounds.

Stand or sit for many hours.
