Role Description This is a part‑time, on‑site position based in Spartanburg, SC, for a PATH Intl. Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor (CTRI). The candidate MUST hold this certification. The CTRI will plan and conduct therapeutic riding lessons for individuals with special needs, tailoring sessions to meet riders’ individual goals and skill levels in a group setting. The instructor will also provide training in horsemanship, manage lesson plans, and prioritize the physical and emotional well‑being of clients and horses alike.

Qualifications

PATH Intl. Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor credentials and prior experience teaching therapeutic riding lessons

Strong equine knowledge and skills

Effective communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to work with diverse participants and volunteers

Organizational and time management skills to plan and execute lessons successfully

Commitment to creating an inclusive, safe, and supportive environment

CPR or first aid certification required

Experience in working with diverse abilities and age groups is a significant advantage
