Job Skills / Requirements Hiring immediately for Flex Security Officers in Indianapolis, IN. All shifts and days are available.
Pay starts at $18.50 per hour, with weekly pay.
Benefits: eligible for a 401(k) with up to 8% employer match if working at least 20 hours per week (minimum 500 hours per year) and completing six months of service.
Requirements
Must have reliable transportation.
One year of experience in security, military, or law enforcement is preferred.
Excellent customer service skills.
Willing and able to work holidays, weekends, and all weather conditions.
Must regularly stand or walk for extended periods of time and distance.
Exceptional report writing skills.
Mentally analyze a situation, solve problems, and make decisions under pressure in the area of responsibility.
Able to work independently.
Read and understand written instruction and communicate information and ideas in a clear and concise written form.
Flex Officer Explanation The Flex Officer provides trained, competent support by covering shifts that become open due to illness, call‑offs, weather, vacation, or other causes. This ensures continuous, uninterrupted service to our customers while protecting the health and work balance of our personnel.
Scheduling Expectations
You will be trained at various posts and/or facilities based on operational need. Work may be assigned to a specific post for several weeks but is not a permanent assignment.
Your schedule (shifts, days off, hours per week, etc.) will vary based on operational need.
Shifts will be offered as they become available due to staffing needs.
Some shifts will be scheduled in advance and posted with the new week’s schedule; other shifts may be called with short notice.
You are expected to work any shift scheduled in advance that falls within your availability. If unavailable, communicate with your supervisor.
For short‑notice call‑ins, you are expected to work at least 80% of the shifts for which you are called. Refusing more than 20% of called shifts could negatively impact your employment status.
Education Requirements High School diploma or equivalent.
