Base pay range $40,000.00/yr - $60,000.00/yr

Legal Assistant We are a small, well-established West Houston law firm seeking a full-time legal secretary/legal assistant with at least 3 years of experience representing lenders in commercial real estate loan transactions, who we can rely on to assist attorneys in preparing commercial loan documentation for our lender clients.

You Should Have:

High School diploma or equivalent

0-3 years of experience as a legal secretary/legal assistant in commercial real estate law

Knowledge of commercial real estate lending, including loan structures, loan documentation, title work, and issue recognition

Exceptional ability to multitask and be accurate and efficient, and an ability to work with others in a high-volume environment

Solid verbal and written communication skills, along with attention to detail and proofreading skills, including the ability to review large amounts of detailed documents for accuracy

Proficiency in WordPerfect, Microsoft Word, and Excel

Reliable transportation and attendance

Your Will Be Responsible For:

Preparation of loan documentation for real estate loans for banks

Reviewing title commitments, surveys, and organizational documents of corporate entity loan parties

Communicating with lenders and title companies

Day-to-day upkeep with the status of files
