Regional Sales Manager

Support Sales Director with managing all sales projects and marketing activities for the region; search and win programs, account management, and new business development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assists in execution of established sales forecasts, initiatives and marketing efforts for that region
Assists in driving strategic sales initiatives for that region
Interface with and support outside strategic partners
Assists in ensuring successful outcomes with customer relationships
Executes RFQs, Tender and Quotation activities for assigned region/accounts
Coordinates with Order Management Team to solve customer issues
Advanced understanding of the territory procurement systems and major customers
Basic contract understanding; ability to coordinate with legal department as needed for contract review
Product knowledge regarding Aero Precision and our Partner OEM’s
Support Director in prospecting and opportunity generation skills to further business in Sales territory
Ability to generate a customer presentation and present with some coaching and minimal assistance
Support Director in generating new business and territory expansion within assigned Sales territory
Support Director in strategy execution for large projects/tenders
Basic Salesforce ability and usage
Understand and perform functions in accordance with AS9120 and ISO9001 Standards

Education and Experience
5+ years’ experience as a sales manager or equivalent
Desired: 5+ years aerospace or industrial related sales experience
Language Skills
Fluent in English
Foreign language skills a plus (may be required depending on region)
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers
Mathematical Skills
Average/Above average
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division; apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
