The Opportunity
The Service Clerk reports to the Store Manager/Senior Assistant Manager and is responsible for maintaining carts, assisting customers with purchases, checking prices, and supporting store maintenance.
Specific Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To
Collect and organize shopping carts within the store, retrieving carts from the parking lot and surrounding areas.
Assist customers with loading merchandise into shopping carts and vehicles.
Check retail prices on shelves for check‑stand personnel.
Pull merchandise from check‑stand (“go‑backs”) and return it to the proper shelf; walk aisles and relocate misplaced items; face merchandise on aisles as needed.
Monitor entrance cleanliness by sweeping inside and outside, picking up and emptying trash, mopping outside walkways, and cleaning entrance/exit doors daily.
Maintain store cleanliness throughout the day by sweeping, mopping, cleaning, and restocking restrooms as needed.
