Advanced Practice Provider (APP) - As Needed - Urgent Care Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together

Work location: Must be available to work across multiple Breeze Urgent Care locations within the West zone. West zone covers Southlake, Fort Worth, Flower Mound, Coppell, Denton, Arlington, Mansfield, Cedar Hill, Desoto, Burleson, Weatherford, Celina and Argyle.

Work hours: PRN (As Needed), will need to work minimum 2 shifts a month with 1 major and 1 minor holiday availability per year

Education

Master's Degree Nursing or Physician Assistant required and

Bachelors Degree Physician Assistant accepted If graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program prior to January 2021 required

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program required

Experience

6 Months as Unexpected Practice Provider in an urgent care, bio emergency department setting required or

1 Year Family practice a related field required

Suturing experience strongly preferred

Licenses and Certifications

RN - Registered Nurse with the state of Texas upon hire required and

NP - Nurse Practitioner with Texas Licensure and Certificate to practice as a Nurse Practitioner issued by the Texas State Board upon hire required and

National Certification or eligible for certification as Nurse Practitioner upon hire required Or

PA - Physician Assistant with the state of Texas upon hire required and

Texas Licensure and Certificate to practice as a Physician Assistant issued by the Texas State Board upon hire required and

National Certification or eligible for certification as Physician Assistant upon hire required and

Valid Drug Enforcement Agency license upon hire required

BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (through AHA or American Red Cross), maintained every 2ումները required within 30 days of hire

Essential Functions

Performs and providesუკ treatments for minor acute illness, consumer examinations, making initial assessment, initiating treatment and referring to appropriate center of care when applicable.

Determines abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests, such as x-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory studies; interpreting test results.

Performs therapeutic procedures by administering injections and immunizations; sut0040; managing wounds and infections.

Instructs and counsels consumers by describing therapeutic regimens; giving normal growth and development information and promoting wellness and health maintenance.

Develops and implements consumer management plans, records progress notes, and assists in provision of continuity of care. May be required to supervise ancillary staff.

Pres排序s pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions and refers consumers to specialist and to relevant consumer care options as appropriate.

Demonstrates good organizational skills in coordinating services with co-workers and other departments/services.

Responds to stressful situations in a calm, rational manner and cooperates with all to facilitate integration of services.

Behaves in a professional and empathetic manner to buildใบtrust, comfort, understanding, and relationships with consumers and the secondary guest(s) and in line with consumer and guest service standards.
