Job Title: Engineering Technician
Location: St. Paul, MN Job Type: Contract Length: 12-Months Hours: 1st Shift, 40 hours/week Pay Rate: $30.00 - $39.30 per hour Base pay range
$30.00/hr - $39.30/hr Overview:
Part of the R&D Orthodontic division Minimal work direction needed, highly skilled and knowledgeable to the position and provides best practicing sharing within work group. Worker to assume leadership of technical programs of major importance to division/staff interests involving scientific research/ understanding, applied technology, and product or process innovations. Worker will maintain a flow of major technical contributions such as material/product/process innovations and understandings and will document and communicate these via Records of Invention, patents, internal reports, technical presentations and/or publications. Responsibilities:
Identifying, planning, recommending and completing technical programs leading to innovative applications and extensions of existing and new technologies having major importance to division/staff business. Establish extensive intra-divisional interactions and initiate inter-divisional interactions to develop a network of support (technical, manufacturing, engineering, sales and marketing) to facilitate completion of programs. May participate in technical strategic planning. Document experimental data/observations in technical notebooks (or approved electronic files), prepare reports, and make oral presentation. May also be required to provide technical supervision/management of other contingent technical workers. Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or Biomedical Engineering 3+ years of experience Other Notes:
A lot of hands on lab testing, orthodontic test procedures Looking for someone with strong organization skills, attention to detail, self-motivated Previous experience in iso13485 med device is nice to have but not required Collaborative team environment Benefits that Pride Health offers:
