Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Per-Diem
Registered Nurse
for an opening at a Medical Center in Selma, AL. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a dynamic setting, managing a diverse patient population and collaborating with a skilled healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate comprehensive nursing care for a diverse patient caseload with acute and chronic medical conditions or recovering from surgical procedures.
Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies safely and accurately, while monitoring for patient response and potential complications.
Perform systematic patient assessments, document changes in condition, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure timely intervention.
Educate patients and their families on disease processes, post-discharge care, medications, and strategies for managing health after leaving the hospital.
Prioritize and delegate tasks efficiently to support staff (e.g., LPNs, CNAs) to ensure all patient care needs are met in a timely manner.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited program.
Licensure: Active, unencumbered RN license from the state of Alabama.
Experience: Minimum of 6 months of RN work experience.
Technical Skills: Current CPR certification (Basic Life Support preferred).
> Soft Skills: Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, effective communication, cultural competency, collaboration, adaptability, and a positive attitude. Credentialing Requirements: Clean background check, negative TB test results, annual physical, COVID-19 vaccination, and other requirements as specified by the facility or agency.
