We are seeking an experienced Perioperative Practitioner with major orthopaedic scrub expertise to join our well-established theatre team. You will play a key role in supporting patients through their perioperative journey and ensuring the highest standards of care. Full or part time hours available.

Main duties of the job Deliver exemplary planned care for patients during the perioperative stage. Assist in managing and organising care within the Scrub/Recovery team. Work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams. Assess patient needs, implement and evaluate care plans.

Job responsibilities

Deliver exemplary planned care for patients during the perioperative stage.

Assist in managing and organising care within the Scrub/Recovery team.

Work collaboratively across multi‑disciplinary teams.

Assess patient needs, implement and evaluate care plans.

What We’re Looking For

HCPC registered ODP or NMC registered Nurse (no restrictions).

Minimum 1 year major orthopaedic scrub experience (hips, knees, shoulders, spinal).

Strong communication and organisational skills.

Flexible, positive attitude.

Desirable: Surgical First Assist (SFA) qualification.

Person Specification Qualifications Experience

Minimum 1 year major orthopaedic scrub experience (hips, knees, shoulders, spinal).
