Position Summary This is skilled technical work at a journeyman level involving operating, installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing plumbing systems and components, steam and hot water boiler equipment, other gas‑fired equipment, and fire protection systems. Includes building and utility services: water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer and gas distribution systems.
Duties and Responsibilities
Operate, troubleshoot, repair and install steams and HW boilers, furnaces and associated equipment (40% of time).
Operate, troubleshoot, repair and install building plumbing systems, related equipment and utility services (gas, water, sewer). (Percentage unspecified)
Interact with customers via phone and in person to coordinate work (10% of time).
Prepare work related documents (work orders, vouchers, reports, purchase requests, etc.) (5% of time).
Other duties as needed by supervisors. (Percentage unspecified)
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Two (2) years of related experience.
