$25.88 - 32.995 hourly. Job Summary
Performs professional work coordinating the delivery of employment readiness training and career exploration programming activities to prepare youth ages fifteen through twenty‑five (16‑25) for employment opportunities. An employee assigned to this classification cultivates partnerships with local businesses and organizations to place participants in paid internship, certification, or employment opportunities. Responsible for recruiting program participants, providing access to support services as needed, and conducting a four‑week employment readiness training program. Once training is complete, participants are placed in an eight‑week paid internship within a career field of interest. Program participants are monitored for up to ninety days to ensure they continue to work toward employment goals and successful completion of the internship program, and assist with the transition into stable employment. The employee ensures compliance with all grants, funding sources, and record keeping. The employee may be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays. Responsibilities
Coordinate delivery of employment readiness training and career exploration programming activities for youth 16‑25. Recruit program participants and provide access to support services. Conduct a four‑week employment readiness training program. Place participants in an eight‑week paid internship aligned with their career interests. Monitor interns for up to 90 days to ensure progress toward employment goals. Maintain compliance with grants, funding sources, and record‑keeping requirements. Collaborate with local businesses and organizations to secure internship and employment opportunities. Prepare and maintain program reports and documentation. Minimum Qualifications
Associate’s Degree or Technical Certificate and two (2) years of experience in responsible case management, social work, or youth development capacity, implementing programs for youth, community organization, events, or public affairs management, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Valid Florida Driver’s License required. Workforce development experience preferred. Employment Type
Full‑time Contract position with the same benefits as regular full‑time positions. Most contracts are renewable for terms of one year. Seniority Level
